| In this early to mid-1900’s ikebana basket, extremely thin strips of bamboo have been woven in a random pattern, in multiple layers, to produce the effect of a bird’s nest. Partially disguised bamboo-root stalks function as feet. The handle and opening have been formed to suggest the moon. Good condition with minor splits on the feet.
