| This slab plate is the work of Iwabuchi Shigeya, a Kyoto potter known for his white salt glazed pieces. It has a wonderful thick white and peach colored glaze with a sweeping movement of deep incised lines and raised corners. This piece titled “White Wave” was exhibited at Mitsukoshi Department Store in 1973. Excellent condition with a signed box. Dimensions: 9 ½” x 7 ¼” | |||||||||
