| Wide strips of bamboo inserted diagonally into a hexagonal-plaited support structure contribute to the dynamic composition of this double gourd shaped ikebana basket. Narrow strips have been randomly woven between the slats. Thin strips of bamboo have been twisted, braided and then wrapped around the middle to imitate a cord. It rests on a rootwood base.
