This mid-1900’s Shigaraki tea set shows a lovely contrast between the light orange of the fired clay and the pale green of the natural ash glaze. The surface is enriched by a myriad of small white beads of feldspar. Each piece is stamped by the potter. Signed box. There is a minor chip on the rim of one of the cups.
