This lovely kimono made in the late 1800’s is hand painted with embellishments of silk threads. It is made of chirimen silk crepe with a red silk and powder blue chirimen crepe lining. Good condition with slight fading and signs of wear.

This early 1900’s hanhaba silk obi is in shades of pale gray/blue and a subtle gold and decorated with pine, bamboo, chrysanthemums and cranes. Good condition.

This early to mid-1900’s hanhaba silk obi is in shades of gold, gray, deep taupe and cream and decorated with fans, bamboo and pine. Very good condition.

This early to mid-1900’s sakiori obi is woven of cotton threads in shades of purple, turquoise and cream. The pattern is repeated except for 28” which is a solid purple. Very good condition.

This late 1800’s 4 panel Tsutsugaki or futon cover is decorated with the auspicious plum, pine, bamboo, crane and turtle design using a paste resist dyeing technique. The border was added later. Very good condition with a few minor patches.

This early 1900’s obi has been decorated with a pine tree and scattered bamboo motif. A tan background is accented with green and teal with highlights in metallic gold and silver. Very good condition except for slight soiling down the center of one half where it has been folded.

This early 1900’s maru obi is heavily decorated with pine, chrysanthemum, bamboo, ivy and geometric patterns. It is done in deep shades of green, brown and rust and embellished with gold metallic threads. Excellent condition.

This early 1900’s maru obi is decorated with scattered pine boughs amidst bamboo leaves, chrysanthemums and plum blossoms. The colors are rose, royal blue, celadon, deep plum and rust on an olive background. Excellent condition.
